Life can be so boring without things without space chat and Star Trek. I just wonder if there are copies of people in a parallel universe (like a soul) making beaming up possible. I have actually seen a person vanish before.
Never told a psychiatrist definately the boring type.

A friend of mine had his father vanish. Probably not the sort of vanishing you are talking about.

I remember some sci-fi fanfic in which teleportation consisted in making copies of people who existed in a certain parallel dimension on the target location, but it was very badly explained, and kind of inconsostent. But htat is fanfiction for you.

The person I saw vanish happened right before my eyes, i had no video camera. It was in juarez Mexico complete stranger. happened years ago when Carlos salinas was President. Way I saw it difficult to prove, if not impossible. Different than your freinds father that vanished not a stranger.
