to be investigated. But the salary itself is way too much. They hardly even spend any time working.

Even when they are "working", they aren't doing their job.

They should work as volunteers, conduct

jobs in places where they can actually work for their money (if they
need any.)

When this country started, that wouldn't have been feasible. Today, however, that is certainly doable with the technology we have.

Term limits. Campaign finance reform. Repeal Citizens United. That'll
help clear things up, but we know what happens when people are left to
police themselves (at the cost of the people they purport to represent)
