    Hi everyone,

    I was the one who approached Alexander in 2000-2001 asking him to add SBBS support into GoldEd+ when he was maintaining GED+.

    Alexander did so but said he had issues implementing SBBS' message base
    setup into GED+ (no details were provided to me). He told me that GED+'s
    SBBS support was very basic and likely contained bugs but he also told me he couldn't be bothered to fix them.

    At the time, I was using SBBS 2.30c under OS/2 Warp 4.52 and GED+ worked quite well with SBBS at that time.

    Just a little historical background on the current discussion topic.
